We have carried out wordpress optimization using several “disable function” plugins.
We have disabled gavatars in discussions using native settings. Using the plugin by optimization.io we have disabled emojis together with enhanced-embeds and made external requests asynchronous.
We have disabled wptexturise in functions.php by adding remove_filter commands.
